Prohibited items

At Cola Kids Consignment, we prioritize quality and safety for all items. To ensure this, the following items are not accepted for consignment:

• Items that have been recalled.
• Items with stains, broken zippers, or missing parts.
• Baby gear older than 15 years.
• Car seats and booster seats involved in an accident or past expiration.
• Drop-side cribs or non-mesh crib bumpers.
• Homemade clothing or items.
• Items with excessive wear, peeling stickers, or markings.
• Used undergarments.
• Items that fail to meet lead, phthalate, or general toy safety standards.

In addition, all consignors are required to ensure their items haven’t been recalled. Please visit the Safe Kids product recall website before submitting items. This important step guarantees the safety and compliance of items in our sale.

We cannot accept clothing with stains, tears, broken zippers/snaps, undergarments, or items with multiple monogrammed initials. For the spring sale we do not allow pants, long sleeves, winter boots, coats, fall/winter seasonal items. For the fall/winter sale we do not allow shorts, short sleeve or sleeveless tops, lightweight fabrics,  short sleeve onesies. The exception to these are fall/winter themed short sleeve shirts/dresses, uniform polo, and short sleeve onesies paired with fall/winter themed outfit. 

Shoes must be in excellent condition, without scuffs or excessive wear. Open-toed shoes, sandals, and flip-flops should only be submitted for the spring sale.

Books with missing pages, rips, tears, markings, or worn covers are not accepted. We also don’t accept adult books, self-help books, or adult DVDs/VHS tapes.

We do not accept twin beds or larger, furniture missing parts or screws, or items with severe scratches. Inclined sleepers or any recalled furniture are not permitted.

Used pacifiers, bottle nipples, formula, food, medicines, breast pumps and breast pump tubing, or worn utensils and cups are not accepted.

Expired or accident-involved car seats and booster seats are not accepted. Bumbo seats without straps and non-mesh crib bumpers are also prohibited.

We only accept licensed character stuffed animals in excellent condition. Items with rips, stains, or any recalled items are not permitted.

Personal care products such as lotions, creams, and diaper creams are not accepted.

Bikes and trikes must have functioning brakes and good handle grips. Toys with sharp edges or protruding parts are not allowed.

We do not accept Happy Meal toys.

Opened or used craft supplies are not accepted. Craft kits must be complete, and any hazardous materials or inappropriate items for children will not be accepted.

We do not accept heavy blankets or quilts and personalized bedding items.

We do not accept items with worn padding or damage, or expired safety gear such as life jackets.
